Saturday Summer Block Parties!

Coggs Grand Opening: See our Cherry Center!
June 13th 2025, 10:30am-1:30pm
1230 W. Cherry Street (Entrance on 13th Street)
After 25 years in the Historic Marcia P. Coggs building, we’re thrilled to share that our food center has officially moved into a beautiful new space inside the new Milwaukee County Marcia P. Coggs building at 1230 W Cherry Street. This move marks a new era in our partnership with the Milwaukee County Department of Health and Human Services, and we’re proud to continue walking alongside them in service to our community.
We’d love for you to celebrate with us at our grand opening on Friday, June 13th from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. There will be a ribbon cutting, building tours, a resource fair, and of course—delicious food. Everyone is welcome!
Nourish in the Forest

Join us for a bonfire and Purple Door Ice Cream at Riverside Park! It’s a time to gather and reflect on our work as a community— especially our amazing volunteers. It’s an evening you won’t want to miss!

Nourish n' Nosh

Celebrate our volunteer community at the Triple Taproom! Connect with the volunteer community, get to know staff, and help nourish the community while having fun.
- Enjoy happy hour while doing good: $2 from all beer, setlzers, and wine will go to NourishMKE, as well as $1 from every mocktail
- Just a little something... All who RSVP will be entered into a raffle for drink tickets, a Triple Taproom coupon, and NourishMKE merch
Annual Holiday Drive
November 1st-December 31st
Every year, thousands of families in our area face food insecurity, and during the winter holidays, this challenge can feel even more difficult. At NourishMKE, we ensure no one has to go without during the festive season by providing extra holiday food boxes, toy drives, and Holiday parties (with Santa!).
How You Can Participate:
- Donate Non-Perishable Food: Drop off items like canned goods, pasta, rice, or holiday-specific foods (canned vegetables, stuffing, etc.).
- Make a Financial Contribution: Your donation helps us purchase what’s needed most and keep our shelves stocked.
- Volunteer: Offer your time to help organize, pack, and distribute holiday food boxes.
- Sponsor: Your business can partner with us to sponsor the holidays for families in need.
